Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between EDP and EDT?
EDP (Eau de Parfum) contains 15–25% perfume oil and lasts 6–10 hours. EDT (Eau de Toilette) contains 5–15% and lasts 3–5 hours. All Mirisanno perfumes are EDP – we chose this format so you can experience the full fragrance, from top to base notes, without needing to reapply.
How long does a perfume last on the skin?
Our EDP perfumes typically last 6–10 hours, depending on your skin type and how you apply them. Moisturized skin and application on pulse points (wrists, décolletage, behind the ears) provide the longest longevity.
Are your perfumes unisex?
Yes, all Mirisanno perfumes are unisex. We create scents for the feeling, not the gender. Each perfume is balanced to wear beautifully regardless of who wears it.
How do I know which perfume suits me?
The easiest way is to try it on your skin – perfume develops differently depending on your skin chemistry. Order our Mirisanno Sample Kit and test all perfumes at home at your leisure. You can also try our fragrance quiz for personalized recommendations.
How do I apply perfume correctly?
Spray 2–4 times on pulse points – wrists, décolletage, and behind the ears. Apply to moisturized skin directly after showering for best longevity. Never rub your wrists together – it breaks down the top notes.
Are your perfumes handmade?
Yes. Each perfume is blended, matured, and bottled by hand by us in Sweden. We produce in small batches to maintain high quality and ensure each bottle is fresh.
How long does the perfume mature before it is sold?
Once a new batch is blended, we let the perfume mature for several weeks. During this time, the ingredients settle and create the balance we are looking for. Then the bottles are filled.
What is your shipping policy?
We offer free shipping above a certain amount. See our shipping policy for current information on delivery times and costs.
Can I return a perfume?
We accept returns of unused products within 14 days. See our return policy for full terms and conditions.
How do I best store perfume?
Store perfume in a cool, dark place – a dresser drawer or wardrobe is perfect. Avoid direct sunlight and bathrooms with high humidity and temperature fluctuations. Proper storage ensures the perfume maintains its character for several years.
