What is a unisex perfume?
A unisex perfume – also called a gender-neutral fragrance – is designed to sit beautifully regardless of who wears it. It's not about removing everything perceived as "feminine" or "masculine", but about balancing notes in a way that's universally appealing.
In practice: a unisex perfume can have floral notes (traditionally "feminine") combined with woody or spicy notes (traditionally "masculine") in a way that creates harmony rather than polarity.
Why did Mirisanno choose to make all fragrances unisex?
It was a simple decision. We create perfumes we want to wear ourselves – and we didn't want to limit who could wear them. Scent is a personal expression, not a gender. How do you find "your" unisex fragrance?
Forget what the packaging or description says. Test the fragrance on your skin and wear it for at least 30 minutes – it's only when the base notes have emerged that you know if the scent is truly yours.
