One of the most common questions we get is: How long does a perfume last?
The answer is that it depends on several things – including the notes of the perfume, your skin, and when you apply it.
To understand this, you need to know how perfume is made up. It consists of three layers:
Top notes – the first impression
These are the first scents you feel immediately when you spray. Light, fresh and fleeting notes that
citrus or mint. They disappear quickly, often within 15–30 minutes.
Example: In Blue Escape you are greeted by a fresh citrus opening that invigorates and sets the tone.

Heart notes – the soul of the perfume
Once the top notes have settled, the heart takes over. Here you often find flowers, fruits or spices.
These tones develop after half an hour and can last for several hours.
Example: In Fading Sun , vanilla, orange blossom and spices appear in the heart – giving the fragrance its warm, embracing character.

Base notes – the scent that lasts the longest
The base notes are the answer to the question of how long a perfume lasts.
They are heavier ingredients like wood, amber, vanilla or musk – and can stay on the skin from 6 hours up to the whole day.
Example: In Peach Fever, a caramelized base with musk is revealed, giving a sweet and
addictive longevity.

Why perfume changes on the skin
The scent develops differently depending on your skin type, temperature and even the time of year, which is why the same perfume can smell different on two different people.
Tip : Do you want to extend the life of your fragrance? Apply the perfume to moisturized skin and preferably
at points where blood circulation is strong, such as the wrists and neck but not right under the nose, then you risk becoming nose blind and the scent "disappears" faster because your nose has turned off that particular scent for the time being.
